Rotate the secondary sliding sheave clockwise and push it so that it separates from the secondary fixed sheave. 2. 3. Remove the right side cover. (See page 49 for removal procedures.) If the oil does not reach the bottom of the dipstick, add sufficient oil of the recommended type to raise it to the correct level. from the secondary fixed sheave.

Install the V-belt between the secondary
fixed sheave and the secondary sliding
sheave.
9.
Install the drive guard.
10. Install
the
left
side
cover
(PZ50 /
PZ50RT / PZ50GT / PZ50MT), or install
the left side cover and the left upper cov-
er, and then close the shroud (PZ50VT).

Drive chain housing
To check the drive chain housing oil level
1.
Place the snowmobile on a level surface
and apply the parking brake.
2.
Remove the right side cover. (See page
49 for removal procedures.)
3.
Remove the dipstick, wipe it off with a
clean rag, and then insert it back into the
filler hole.
4.
Remove the dipstick and check that the
oil level is within the range shown at the
bottom of the dipstick. If the oil does not
reach the bottom of the dipstick, add suf-
ficient oil of the recommended type to
raise it to the correct level.
NOTICE:
Make sure that no foreign material en-
ters the drive chain housing.
