Battery This snowmobile is equipped with a sealedtype (MF) battery, which does not require any maintenance. There is no need to check the electrolyte or to add distilled water. To charge the battery Have a Yamaha dealer charge the battery as soon as possible if it seems to have discharged. Keep in mind that the battery tends to discharge more quickly if the snowmobile is equipped with electrical accessories. 1. Headlight beam adjusting screw EWS00540 3. Turn the headlight beam adjusting screw to adjust the headlight beam. To lower the headlight beam, turn the headlight beam adjusting screw in direction (a). To raise the headlight beam, turn the headlight beam adjusting screw in direction (b). WARNING Battery electrolyte is poisonous and dangerous. It contains sulfuric acid and can cause severe burns. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. ANTIDOTE: G EXTERNAL: Flush with water. G INTERNAL: Drink large quantities of water or milk. Follow with milk of magnesia, beaten egg, or vegetable oil. Adjusting the headlight beam

Open the shroud.
2.
Insert a Phillips screwdriver into the hole
under the shroud to access the headlight
beam adjusting screw.
3.
Turn the headlight beam adjusting screw
to adjust the headlight beam. To lower
the headlight beam, turn the headlight
beam adjusting screw in direction (a). To
raise the headlight beam, turn the head-
light beam adjusting screw in direction
(b).
4.
Close the shroud.

Tighten in proper sequence and torque if nec-

Battery
This snowmobile is equipped with a sealed-
