Pre-operation checks ITEM Tool kit and recommended equipment Shroud latches Skis and ski runners Drive track Slide runners Steering Lights, signals and switches Throttle lever Throttle override system (T.O.R.S.) CHECKS • Check for proper placement. • Make sure that the shroud latches are hooked. • Check for wear and damage. • If necessary, have Yamaha dealer replace skis or ski runners. • Check for deflection, wear and damage. • If necessary, have Yamaha dealer replace track. • Check for wear and damage. • If necessary, have Yamaha dealer replace slide runners. • Check for excessive free play. • Check operation. • Correct if necessary. • Make sure that operation is smooth and spring back to its home position when released. • Check the T.O.R.S. for proper operation. • If system is defective, have Yamaha dealer check vehicle.
