ESU01762 Checking the brake pads Check the brake pads for wear by measuring the thickness of each pad. If the brake pads reach the wear limit, have a Yamaha dealer replace them. Wear limit a: 9.5 mm (0.37 in) Adjustment This snowmobile has a self-adjusting brake caliper. No adjustment is necessary under normal conditions. If free play at the brake lever seems excessive or insufficient, inspection of the brake system is necessary. WARNING @ Be sure to have a Yamaha dealer inspect the brake system. @ ESU01882 Suspension The suspension can be adjusted to suit rider preference. A softer setting, for example, may provide greater rider comfort, while a harder setting may allow more precise handling and control over certain types of terrain or riding conditions.
