ESU01645 V-belt replacement WARNING @ G G When replacing the V-belt, make sure that the two spacers 1 are installed between the secondary fixed sheave and the secondary sliding sheave. If the spacers are not positioned correctly, the Vbelt clutch engagement speed will be changed and the snowmobile may move unexpectedly when the engine is started. Have a Yamaha dealer replace the V-belt and adjust the gap between the secondary fixed sheave and the secondary sliding sheave. Serious injury can occur from the sudden release of spring tension during sheave disassembly. @ CAUTION: @ To ensure proper clutch performance as the V-belt wears, it is necessary to adjust the gap between the secondary fixed sheave and secondary sliding sheave by changing the positions of the spacers.
