MAINTENANCE Suspension Settings (EPS Deluxe) Front/Rear Spring Preload Your POLARIS dealer can provide the tool required to make suspension adjustments. 1. Elevate the vehicle to allow the suspension to fully extend. 2. Loosen the jam nut and back it away from the adjusting ring. 3. Turn the adjusting ring to the left (1) to increase preload for a stiffer ride. Turn the adjusting ring to the right (2) to decrease preload for a softer ride. WARNING! Uneven adjustment may cause poor handling of the vehicle, which could result in an accident. Always adjust both the left and right spring preloads equally. Your POLARIS dealer can assist. 1 2 Adjusting Ring 4. Tighten the jam nut firmly against the adjuster ring. Front/Rear Shock Compression The compression damping clicker knob is located at the top of the shock reservoir. When the knob is turned fully clockwise, the damping is in the fully closed position. 1. Turn the clicker clockwise to increase compression damping. 2. Suspension Settings (EPS Deluxe)
Front/Rear Spring Preload
Your POLARIS dealer can provide the tool required to
make suspension adjustments.
1.
Elevate the vehicle to allow the suspension to fully
extend.
2.
Loosen the jam nut and back it away from the
adjusting ring.
3.
Turn the adjusting ring to the left (1) to increase
preload for a stiffer ride. Turn the adjusting ring to the
right (2) to decrease preload for a softer ride.
WARNING!
Uneven adjustment may cause poor handling of the
vehicle, which could result in an accident. Always adjust both the
left and right spring preloads equally. Your POLARIS dealer can
assist.
4.
Tighten the jam nut firmly against the adjuster ring.
Front/Rear Shock Compression
