MAINTENANCE Lubrication Recommendations Check and lubricate all components at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 59, or more often under severe use, such as wet or dusty conditions. Items not listed in the chart should be lubricated at the general lubrication interval. See page 63. Maintain level between fill lines. See page 78. See page 66. See pages 66-68. Locate fittings and grease (3 pumps maximum). Grease one fitting on each side of the vehicle. Front and Rear Stabilizer All Season Grease or grease Bar Bushings conforming to NLGI No. 2 Engine Oil Always check and change the engine oil at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 59. Always change the oil filter whenever changing oil. WARNING! Vehicle operation with insufficient, deteriorated, or contaminated engine oil will cause accelerated wear and may result in engine seizure, accident, and injury. Always perform the maintenance procedures as outlined in the Periodic Maintenance Chart. Oil Recommendations POLARIS recommends the use of POLARIS PS-4 5W-50 4-Cycle Oil or a similar oil. Refer to the specifications section beginning on page 90 for capacities. See page 92 for the part numbers of POLARIS products. NOTICE: Mixing brands or using a non-recommended oil may cause serious engine damage. Always use the recommended oil. Never substitute or mix oil brands.
