MAINTENANCE Tires Wheel Removal 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Apply the brakes. Place the transmission in PARK. Stop the engine. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly. Elevate the side of the vehicle by placing a suitable stand under the frame. Remove the wheel nuts and washers. Remove the wheel. Wheel Installation 1. Place the transmission in PARK. 2. Place the wheel in the correct position on the wheel hub. Be sure the valve stem is toward the outside and rotation arrows on the tire point toward forward rotation. WARNING! Improperly installed wheels can adversely affect tire wear and vehicle handling, which can result in serious injury or death. Always ensure that all nuts are torqued to specification. Do not service axle nuts that have a cotter pin installed. See your POLARIS dealer. 3. Attach the wheel nuts and washers and finger tighten. 4. Carefully lower the vehicle to the ground. 5. Torque the wheel nuts to specification. See page 62. 63

Tires
Wheel Removal
1.
Apply the brakes.
2.
Place the transmission in PARK.
3.
Stop the engine.
4.
Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
5.
Elevate the side of the vehicle by placing a suitable stand under the frame.
6.
Remove the wheel nuts and washers. Remove the wheel.
Wheel Installation

Place the transmission in PARK.

Place the wheel in the correct position on
the wheel hub. Be sure the valve stem is
