MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 153 Engine vacuum synchronization must be checked and adjusted periodically in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart by an authorized Kawasaki dealer. Engine Vacuum Synchronization ○Poor engine vacuum synchronization will cause unstable idling, sluggish throttle response, and reduce engine power and performance. NOTE The idle speed inspection should be performed in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart. This motorcycle is equipped with the Idle Speed Control valve. If the idle speed is disturbed, inspection of the idle speed control should be done by an authorized Kawasaki dealer. Idle Speed ○While the engine is cold, the fast idle Idle Speed 1 050 ∼ 1 150 r/min (rpm) NOTE system automatically raises the engine idling speed.
