GENERAL INFORMATION 57 Parking Brake Lever The parking brake pedal is located to the left side of the brake pedal. Depress the pedal all the way down to apply the parking brake. To release, first depress the parking brake pedal slightly, and pull the parking release lever above the parking brake pedal. The parking brake pedal springs back. Be sure to release the parking brake before driving off. Failure to do so may result in poor performance and premature wearing of the rear brakes and belt converter system. WARNING If the vehicle should move after it is parked, it might be damaged or cause injury. Be sure to apply the parking brake before leaving the vehicle. j A. Parking Brake Pedal B. Parking Brake Lever
