Refer to the "Driving through Water" section in the SAFE OPERATION chapter for discharging the water. Kawasaki Engine Brake Control System This vehicle is equipped with the Kawasaki Engine Brake Control System. It can assist the operator when descending hills by supplementing the wheel brake system with additional braking force that is produced by the engine. Kawasaki Engine Brake Control System lever wears gradually so inspection is required in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart by an authorized Kawasaki dealer. NOTE j żThis system does not function in reverse. It cannot function if the battery is disconnected.
