Dynamic ARP Inspection Global Configuration The Dynamic ARP Inspection Global Configuration page contains the following fields: • Validate Source MAC - Select the DAI Source MAC Validation Mode for the switch. If you select Enable, Sender MAC validation for the ARP packets will be enabled. The default is Disable. • Validate Destination MAC-Select the DAI Destination MAC Validation Mode for the switch. If you select Enable, Destination MAC validation for the ARP Response packets will be enabled. The default is Disable. • Validate IP-Select the DAI IP Validation Mode for the switch. If you select Enable, IP Address validation for the ARP packets will be enabled. The default is Disable. Configuring Dynamic ARP Inspection Global Settings With CLI Commands For information about the CLI commands that perform this function, refer to the following chapter in the CLI Reference Guide: • Dynamic ARP Inspection Commands The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands for this feature. Dynamic ARP Inspection Global Commands CLI Command ip arp inspection validate show ip arp inspection Description Enables additional validation checks like source MAC address validation, destination MAC address validation or IP address validation on the received ARP packets. Displays the Dynamic ARP Inspection configuration on all the DAI enabled interfaces.
