To shut down the engine: : Move Master Control lever to $. If fuel tank has been run until empty and then refueled: : Press in button to open the decompression valve. : Start as described for warm engine (warm start n). If fuel tank has been run completely dry (engine stops) and then refueled: : Press in button to open the decompression valve. Start as described for cold engine (cold start l). If the engine doesn't start: If you did not move the Master Control lever from cold start l to warm start n quickly enough after the engine began to fire, the combustion chamber is flooded. 1 2 : Loosen twist lock (1) in direction of arrow. : Remove carburetor box cover (2). 3 213BA009 KN : Unscrew and dry off the spark plug. : Set the Master Control lever to $ : Crank the engine several times with the starter to clear the combustion chamber. : Install the spark plug and connect the spark plug boot (press it down firmly) - fit the carburetor box cover. : Set Master Control lever to n - even if engine is cold. : Press in button to open the decompression valve. : Now start the engine. 213BA010 KN : Pull off the spark plug boot (3). 42 MS 361 C

Loosen twist lock (

) in direction of
arrow.

Remove carburetor box cover (

).

Pull off the spark plug boot (

).

Unscrew and dry off the spark plug.

Set the Master Control lever to

Crank the engine several times with
the starter to clear the combustion
chamber.

Install the spark plug and connect
the spark plug boot (press it down
firmly
) – fit the carburetor box
cover.

Set Master Control lever to

even if engine is cold.

Press in button to open the

Now start the engine.
