Adjusting the tone 1-4 1 S.BASS MUTING PHONES N Adjusting the tonal quality 1 Press the TONE/S.BASS button to select "Bass±0" (bass adjustment), then turn MULTI JOG to adjust the bass. 2 Press MULTI JOG to select "Tre- ble±0" (treble adjustment), then turn MULTI JOG to adjust the treble. 3 Press MULTI JOG to select "S.BASS," then turn MULTI JOG to select "On" or "Off." N Muting the sound Press MUTING on the remote controller. The MUTING indicator lights in the display. To restore the sound, press MUTING again. Tip During muting: • If you press VOLUME / on the remote controller, the sound will be restored. • If you turn the unit off and then on again, the sound will be restored. N Listening through the headphones Decrease the volume, then connect the stereo headphones mini plug to the PHONES jack. You can adjust the volume and mute the sound as described above. The speakers will reproduce no sound while the headphones are connected. To PHONES jack 4 Press MULTI JOG. The display returns to normal indica- tion. You can also use the S.BASS button on the remote controller to turn S.BASS on or off. 26
