Before mounting, make sure that no foreign matter is attached to the PPO-E04's O-ring and threaded section or to the case's port mount thread and O-ring contact surface. Apply a thin layer of the provided silicone O-ring grease to each of these parts. 1) When using the ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm Fisheye lens Silicone grease application surfaces Threaded section O-ring O-ring contact surfaces Port mount thread ቢ Align the threaded section of the PPO-E04 with the port mount thread on the PT-E series case. ባ Hold the PT-E series case firmly with one hand, hold the lens hood around the lens of the PPO-E04 with your other hand and screw it into the PT-E series by turning the PPO-E04 clockwise. ቤ Resistance increases as the PPO-E04 is screwed in more deeply. However, be sure to screw it in all the way until there is no gap visible between the case's port mount thread and the PPO-E04's threaded section. If the resistance is extremely high, apply some more silicone O-ring grease again to surfaces listed above. E-2 Screw in until there is no gap.
