Flicker Reduction G button ➜ C photo shooting menu Reduce banding or (in photographs taken in continuous release modes) uneven exposure or coloration caused by the flicker of such light sources as fluorescent or mercury-vapor lamps during viewfinder photography. Option Description When Enable is selected, the camera will time Flicker reduction photographs to reduce the effects of flicker. Note that setting the frame rate may drop while flicker reduction is in effect. When On is selected, a FLICKER icon will be displayed in the viewfinder if flicker is detected when the shutter- Flicker reduction indicator release button is pressed halfway. If flicker is detected when Disable is selected for Flicker reduction setting, FLICKER icon the icon will flash; to enable flicker reduction, select Enable for Flicker reduction setting. Menu Guide 47
