Installation Risk of damage! If the water supply is cut off while the ice cube maker is still in use the water intake pipe can freeze up. Turn the ice cube maker off if the water supply is interrupted (e.g. while on vacation). Connecting the water supply line Before establishing the plumbed water connection, ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the power supply. Before the cold water line is used for the first time, it must be vented by a suitably qualified plumber. The water connection can be found at the front of the appliance: ^ Lay the water line to the appropriate location at the back of the appliance. ^ At the same time feed the electrical cord from the back of the appliance out of the installation niche. ,Do not plug the cord into the outlet until the water connection is completed. ^ Gently push the appliance into the niche until the back of the appliance slides into the anti-tip bracket (see "Installing the appliance".) ^ Gently push the appliance into the desired location. Leave enough space behind the appliance for connecting the water supply. 41
