Proper ventilation Installation Use only the matching base cover with the ventilation slits! If there is insufficient ventilation, the compressor will run more often and over a longer period of time. This results in higher energy consumption and a higher compressor temperature which can damage the compressor. This appliance does not require ventilation openings in the surrounding cabinetry. Proper ventilation is ensured though the ventilation slits at the base of the appliance. WARNING! Danger of damage from overheating. May restrict operation.
