Advance 10 AFTER USE 10.1 Storage IMPORTANT! Risk of damage to the product - Do not store the product near heat sources. - Never store other items on top of the wheelchair. - Store the wheelchair indoors in a dry environment. - Refer to temperature limitation in chapter 11.2 Environmental conditions, page 58. WARNING! Storing the wheelchair in a damp area or when wet may cause rust or corrosion of wheelchair parts resulting in injury or damage. - Do not use the wheelchair in a shower, pool or other body of water. - Do not store the wheelchair in a damp or humid area. - Avoid extreme weather such as rain or snow when possible. - Avoid excessive moisture or humidity. - If expose to water, dry the wheelchair as soon as possible. After long-term storage (more than four months) the wheelchair must be inspected in accordance to chapter 8 Maintenance, page 47. 56 10.2 Re-use The wheelchair is suitable for re-use. The following actions should be taken: • Cleaning and disinfection, 8.4 Cleaning, page 51 and 8.5 Disinfection, page 52 in this manual. • Inspection, 8 Maintenance, page 47 in this manual. • The wheelchair should be adapted for the new user in accordance with the service documentation (available from the küschall® dealer in your country). 10.3 Disposal Information Before disposing of product, contact local government or municipal authorities for proper disposal and recycling requirements. 1605620-B
