Advance Backrest angle The angle of the backrest can be adjusted. The adjustment must be carried out by the specialist dealer. Backrest bar WARNING! Risk of accidents The backrest bar is not suited for lifting or carrying the wheelchair with the user sitting in it as it can break. - The backrest bar may not be used to lift or carry the wheelchair while the user is sitting in it. 3.11 Antitipper An antitipper prevents the wheelchair from tipping backwards. WARNING! Inasmuch as the antitippers are an option on this wheelchair (you may order with or without the antitippers), Küschall recommends ordering the antitippers as an additional safeguard for the wheelchair user. - Küschall recommends that antitippers be used until the user develops the skills and experience to safely operate the wheelchair without them. - The manual wheelchair is intended for indoor and outdoor use on firm surfaces. When outdoors on wet, soft ground or on gravel surfaces, antitippers may not provide the same level of protection against tip over. - Antitippers are specific to the different seat-to-floor angles and/or seat-to-floor heights. If changing the seat-to-floor height with or without a change to seat-to-floor angle, the correct antitippers must be used to maintain a 1 1/2 to 2-inch ground clearance.
