NOTE: The sensor board spare part kit does not include the sensor board cable. The sensor board cable is available using spare part number N02670-001. Before removing the sensor board cable, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 42). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 42). 3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 43). Remove the sensor board cable: 1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the sensor board cable is connected, and then disconnect the cable from the system board. 2. Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the sensor board cable is connected, and then disconnect the cable from the sensor board. 3. Detach the sensor board cable (3) from the computer. (The sensor board cable is attached to the computer with double-sided adhesive.) 4. Remove the sensor board cable. Reverse this procedure to install the sensor board cable. 3.
Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see

).
Remove the sensor board cable:
1.
Release the ZIF connector
(1)
to which the sensor board cable is connected, and then disconnect the cable
from the system board.
2.
Release the ZIF connector
(2)
to which the sensor board cable is connected, and then disconnect the cable
from the sensor board.
3.
Detach the sensor board cable
(3)
from the computer. (The sensor board cable is attached to the computer
with double-sided adhesive.)
4.
Remove the sensor board cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the sensor board cable.
