Pause mode test Follow these steps for pause mode test. 1. Change the press to Idle. 2. Print one page of a simplex job and pause the press so that the press is idle. 3. Wait 13 minutes, after which the press stops. 4. After the press stops, measure the distance between the edge of the blanket and the edge of the drum (as shown in step Cold start test on page 5 of "Cold start test on page 5" on page 7). 5. Note the measured values of the front and rear. These are the After 13 minute pause values.. 6. After the test, install impression paper and change all the above bypasses to what they were before. 7. Change the following Systab values: ● miscEngineTopic > pauseTImeoutInSec = 180 ● imprEngagePropertiesTopic > warmupSubstrateThickness = 300 (default) ● imprEngagePropertiesTopic > warmupSubstratePressure = 300 (default) ● engineconfigTopic > enableNewPause = True (default) ● bypassTableTopic > impressionEngage = False (default) ● bypassTableTopic > blanketCreepSolution = False (default) Results of first transfer test Fill in the table below with all the data obtained above in order to compare the blanket deformation. Before cold start After cold start Front Rear After 13 minute pause IF: the After 13 minute pause / Front value minus the Before cold start / Front value > 3 mm, =or= the After 13 minute pause / Rear value minus the Before cold start / Rear value > 3 mm, THEN the first transfer probably influenced the blanket creep. Continue with the next procedure ("Checking if second transfer is the source on page 8" on page 10). Pause mode test 7
