NOTE Input sources stored with the quick select function cannot be selected if they have been deleted at "Source Delete" (vpage 53). In this case, store them again. Various memory functions nnPersonal memory plus function This function sets the settings (input mode, surround mode, HDMI output mode, MultEQ, Dynamic EQ, Dynamic Volume, audio delay etc.) last selected for the individual input sources. The surround parameters, tone settings and the volumes of the different speakers are stored for the individual surround modes. nnLast function memory This function stores the settings which were made before going into the standby mode. When the power is turned back on, the settings are restored. Playback in ZONE2 (Separate room) • You can operate this unit so as to enjoy audio in a different room (ZONE2) other than the MAIN ZONE (room where the unit is located). • You can simultaneously play back the same source in both the MAIN ZONE and ZONE2. You can also play back separate sources in the MAIN ZONE and ZONE2. Audio output ZONE2 playback by speaker output The ZONE2 audio signals are output from this unit's SURR. BACK/ AMP ASSIGN speaker terminals using the amplifier assignment function. nnConnecting and setting the speakers "Amp Assign" setting (vpage 49) and audio signals output Connecting the speakers MAIN ZONE ZONE2 Output signal : Stereo (L / R) This unit ZONE2 Naming quick select settings See "Quick Select Name" (vpage 54). We recommend using high quality pin-plug cables for audio connections in order to prevent noise. NOTE It is not possible to play the digital audio signals input from the HDMI, COAXIAL or OPTICAL connectors in ZONE2. 34
