Troubleshooting ■ The Projected Image Is Blurred Cause The image is out of focus. The distance to the screen is too short. The projector is not placed straight in front of the screen. The projector has been moved to a place where the temperature varies a lot. The lens is stained. The tracking is bad. Video is blurred. Motion blur reduction is not available. The sharpness setting is not available. Countermeasure Adjust the focus. (P59) Check whether the distance to the screen is appropriate. Check whether the projector is placed obliquely to the screen. A slight error in the projection angle can be corrected through the keystone adjustment function. (P68) When the projector is moved from a location where the temperature is low to a location where the temperature is high, condensation may form on the lens. The condensation will evaporate after a period of time and the projector will be able to project a normal image. Clean the lens. (P198) Adjust the tracking with the [Auto PC] or [Tracking] function. (P57, P89) Activate motion blur reduction. (P114) Motion blur reduction is not available when projecting JPEG files from USB flash drives or over a network, or for networked multi-projection. Similarly, motion blur reduction is not available in image modes other than [Presentation] or [Dynamic]. Sharpness cannot be adjusted during split-screen display. 284
