Syntax ARCCONF SETSTATE DEVICE [LOGICALDRIVE [LD#] ... ] [noprompt] ARCCONF SETSTATE LOGICALDRIVE OPTIMAL [ADVANCED ] [noprompt] Parameters Controller# is the controller number Channel# is the channel number for the drive Device# is the device number for the device. LD# is the logical drive number. State: ● HSP-Create a hot spare from a ready drive ● RDY-Remove a hot spare designation ● DDD-Force a drive offline (to Failed). ADVANCED is an optional keyword/option pair. Set option to Nocheck to force a logical drive to the Optimal state without performing a consistency check. Noprompt: No prompt for confirmation. Parameters
Controller# is the controller number
Channel# is the channel number for the drive
Device# is the device number for the device.
LD# is the logical drive number.
State:
HSP—Create a hot spare from a ready drive
RDY—Remove a hot spare designation
DDD—Force a drive offline (to Failed).
ADVANCED
<option> is an optional keyword/option pair. Set option to Nocheck to force a
logical drive to the Optimal state without performing a consistency check.
