EAU1044E INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS EAUT1717 Storage compartments ECA17840 Front storage compartment 1 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 NOTICE Keep the following points in mind when using the storage compartments. ● Since the storage compartments accumulate heat when exposed to the sun and/or the engine heat, do not store anything susceptible to heat, consumables or fl ammable items inside them. ● To avoid humidity from spreading through the storage compartments, wrap wet articles in a plastic bag before storing them in the compartments. ● Since the storage compartments may get wet while the vehicle is being washed, wrap any articles stored in the compartments in a plastic bag. ● Do not keep anything valuable or breakable in the storage compartments. 1. Rear storage compartment 1. Front storage compartment EWAT1051 EWA11191 ● ● WARNING Do not exceed the load limit of 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) for the front storage compartment. Do not exceed the maximum load of 85 kg (187 lb) for the vehicle. ● ● WARNING Do not exceed the load limit of 5 kg (11 lb) for the rear storage compartment. Do not exceed the maximum load of 85 kg (187 lb) for the vehicle. Rear storage compartment The rear storage compartment is located under the seat. (See page 3-8.) TIP ● ● Some helmets cannot be stored in the storage compartment because of their size or shape. Do not leave your scooter unattended with the seat open. 3-10
