Periodic maintenance and adjustment 8. 1 Install the headlight unit, making sure to fit the slots on its bottom onto the projections on its stay. 1 1 1. Air filter case cover fastener 2 1. Slot 2. Projection 6. Lift up the air filter element frame and check the air filter element. If there is any snow on the air filter element, remove the element, brush off the snow, and then install the air filter element. 9. Fit the weatherstrip on the headlight unit into the recess in the top of the air filter case cover. 1 1. Air filter element frame 1 1. Weatherstrip 10. Install the headlight unit bolts, and then tighten them to the specified torque. Tightening torque: Headlight unit bolt: 3.0 Nm (0.30 m·kgf, 2.2 ft·lbf) 11. Install the top cover, the left and right side covers, and the shroud. 7. Place the air filter element frame in the original position, and then install the air filter case cover by hooking the fasteners. RST90 1. 2. Place the snowmobile on a level surface and apply the parking brake. Open the shroud. 74
