INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS To release the helmet from the helmet holder Remove the rider seat, remove the helmet from the helmet holder, and then install the seat. EAU42730 ECA15380 Sidebags EWA14340 NOTICE To avoid locking the key in, never lock either sidebag and remove the key from the lock before closing the lid. To open a sidebag lid 1. Insert the key into the sidebag lock, and then turn the key counterclockwise. WARNING Improper loading or overloading can cause loss of control and possibly an accident or personal injury. See pages 1-1 and 7-17 for important loading and tire pressure information. G Always securely close the sidebags before riding. G Distribute weight evenly on each side of the motorcycle. G Do not exceed the load limit of 5 kg (11 lb) for each sidebag. G Do not exceed the maximum load of 190 kg (419 lb) for the vehicle. G Do not exceed 120 km/h (80 mi/h) when riding with luggage in the sidebags, otherwise handling could be affected. Improper loading, poor tire or overall motorcycle conditions, poor road surfaces or adverse weather conditions may make it necessary to further reduce the riding speed. 4-14 4 1. Key 2. Unlock. 2.
