INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS EAU10450 EWA10072 EAU10980 Main switch WARNING Never turn the key to "OFF" while the vehicle is moving, otherwise the electrical systems will be switched off, which may result in loss of control or an accident. EAU10810 Indicator lights The main switch controls the ignition and lighting systems. The various main switch positions are described below. EAU10510 P (Parking) The taillight and position lights are on, but all other electrical systems are off. The key can be removed. The key must be pushed in from the "OFF" position to be turned to "P". ECA11020 4 1. High beam indicator light "HIGH BEAM" 2. Neutral indicator light "NEUTRAL" 3. Turn signal indicator light "TURN" EAU11040 ON All electrical systems are supplied with power, and the headlight, meter lighting, taillight and position lights come on, and the engine can be started. The key cannot be removed. EAU45751 NOTICE Do not use the parking position for an extended length of time, otherwise the battery may discharge. Turn signal indicator light "TURN" This indicator light flashes when the turn signal switch is pushed to the left or right. EAU11070 OFF All electrical systems are off. The key can be removed. EAU10450
Main switch
The main switch controls the ignition
and lighting systems. The various main
switch positions are described below.
EAU10510
ON
All electrical systems are supplied with
power, and the headlight, meter light-
ing, taillight and position lights come
on, and the engine can be started. The
key cannot be removed.
EAU45751
OFF
All electrical systems are off. The key
can be removed.
WARNING
EWA10072
Never turn the key to “OFF” while
the vehicle is moving, otherwise the
electrical systems will be switched
off, which may result in loss of con-
trol or an accident.

The taillight and position lights are on,
but all other electrical systems are off.
The key can be removed.
The key must be pushed in from the
“OFF” position to be turned to “P”.
