Loosen the locknut 1. 2. Turn the control rod adjuster 2 in direction a to increase weight transfer or direction b to decrease weight transfer. CD-27E Adjuster turning direction Weight transfer a Increased ← ← → b → Decreased 3. Check the adjuster length c using the scale on the special wrench 3 included in the owner's tool kit as shown. Make sure that the rim d of the control rod body is within the range e of the scale. 4. Tighten the locknut while holding the adjuster in place. Locknut tightening torque: 35 Nm (3.5 m·kgf, 25 ft·lb) CAUTION: @ When using the special wrench, make sure that it is situated at a right angle to the control rod, and that it is tightly fitted to the locknut or the control rod adjuster. @ WARNING @ Never adjust the control rod beyond the range of the scale on the special wrench. @ 8-30

Adjusting the control rods
The weight transfer can be adjusted by turning the con-
trol rod adjuster or adjusting nut.
For RX10R/RXW10
1. Loosen the locknut
