CAUTION: @ G G G Always keep the battery charged. Storing a discharged battery can cause permanent battery damage. To charge a sealed-type (MF) battery, a special (constant-voltage) battery charger is required. Using a conventional battery charger will damage the battery. If you do not have access to a sealed-type (MF) battery charger, have a Yamaha dealer charge your battery. Do not charge the battery quickly. Charge the battery for 10 hours at 1.8 amperes. Returning to service after storage When returning your snowmobile to service, install the V-belt and battery and adjust the drive track. Remove the spark plugs and clean or replace them if necessary. Perform all other pre-operation and seasonal maintenance checks listed in the periodic maintenance chart. NOTE: @ Before installing the battery, have a Yamaha dealer inspect and fully charge it. @ @ 7. 7. Drive track
