Rear brake pedal height adjustment NOTE: Adjust the rear brake before inspecting the rear brake pads. _ _ WARNING POTENTIAL HAZARD Operating with improperly serviced or adjusted brakes. WHAT CAN HAPPEN You could lose braking ability, which could lead to an accident. HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD After servicing: sure the brakes operate G Make smoothly and that the free play is correct. G Make sure the brakes do not drag. G All air must be bled from the brake system. Replacement of brake components requires professional knowledge. These procedures should be performed by a Yamaha dealer. The top of the brake pedal should be positioned 72 mm (2.8 in) above the top of the footrest. If not, ask a Yamaha dealer to adjust it. a.
