Maintenance Gear Shift Pedal Do not remove and reposition the shift arm on the shift shaft to adjust gear shift pedal height. A 90°+/-5° angle between the shift arm and the linkage rod is necessary to ensure correct shift linkage operation. 1. Loosen the gear shift linkage rod lock nuts. 2.
