MAINTENANCE Active Descent Control (ADC) Fluid If your vehicle is equipped with Active Descent Control, there are two fluid levels that must be maintained (demand drive fluid and ADC fluid). See page 83 for demand drive fluid maintenance. Check and change the ADC fluid level at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 72. Maintain the fluid level between the minimum and maximum marks on the reservoir. We recommend the use of Polaris ADC Fluid. See page 126 for the part numbers of Polaris products. NOTE: Do not use brake fluid. Brake fluid will damage rubber components in the hydraulic system. 1. Open the front box cover and pull open the access door. 2. View the fluid level in the reservoir. 3. If the level is below the minimum mark, remove the cap and add the recommended fluid. 4. Reinstall the cap. Secure the access door. Secure the box cover. MAINTENANCE
Active Descent Control (ADC) Fluid

change the ADC fluid level at the intervals outlined in the Periodic
Maintenance Chart beginning on page 72. Maintain the fluid level
between the minimum and maximum marks on the reservoir. We recom-
mend the use of Polaris ADC Fluid. See page 126 for the part numbers
of Polaris products.
NOTE:
Do not use brake fluid. Brake fluid will damage rubber components in
the hydraulic system.
1.
Open the front box cover and pull
open the access door.
2.
View the fluid level in the reservoir.
3.
If the level is below the minimum
mark, remove the cap and add the
recommended fluid.
4.
Reinstall the cap. Secure the access
door. Secure the box cover.
