Spark Arrestor 1. Remove the three bolts and remove the arrestor from the end of the muffler. 2. Use a non-synthetic brush to clean the arrestor screen. A synthetic brush may melt if components are warm. If necessary, blow debris from the screen with compressed air. 3. Inspect the screen for wear and damage. Replace the arrestor if damage is found. 4. Reinstall the arrestor. 5. Torque the bolts to 7 ft. lbs. (9.5 Nm). Maintenance Arrestor Screen 139

3.
Inspect the screen for wear and damage.
Replace the arrestor if damage is found.
4.
Reinstall the arrestor.
5.
Torque the bolts to 7 ft. lbs. (9.5 Nm).
