Controls in detail Lighting Recalling positions from memory X Lighting Notes i If you drive in countries where vehicles drive on the other side of the road than the country where the vehicle is registered, you must have the headlamps modified for symmetrical low beams. Relevant information can be obtained at any authorized Mercedes-Benz Center. i The active Bi-Xenon headlamps monitor the vehicle's steering angle and speed, then automatically shift their beams to either side to better follow the curvature of the road ahead, increasing usable illumination over conventional headlamps. Press and hold desired memory position button 1, 2 or 3 until the seat, on the driver's side also the steering wheel and exterior rear view mirrors, have completely moved to the stored positions. i Releasing the memory position button stops movement to the stored positions immediately. 1 Memory position button 2 Memory button M Storing positions into memory X Adjust the seats, on the driver's side also the steering wheel and exterior rear view mirrors, to the desired positions. Press memory button M. Release memory button M and press memory position button 1, 2 or 3 within 3 seconds. When the settings are stored to the selected position, an acknowledgement signal sounds.
