TRENDnet User's Guide Basic Router Settings Access your router management page Note: Your router management page URL/domain name http://tew-831dr or IP address http://192.168.10.1 is accessed through the use of your Internet web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer®, Firefox®, Chrome™, Safari®, Opera™) and will be referenced frequently in this User's Guide. 1. Open your web browser and go to URL/domain name http://tew-831dr or IP address http://192.168.10.1. Your router will prompt you for a user name and password. TEW-831DR Basic Configuration Basic Configuration This section allows for configurations of the router's basic settings. 1. Log into your router management page (see "Access your router management page" on page 12). And select language from the dropdown on the top left. 2. For added security, the router is preconfigured with a unique password. You can find the Password on a sticker on the side of the router and on the label on the bottom of the router. Enter your Username and Password, select your preferred language, then click Login. User Name: admin Password: (xxxxxxxx) Note: User Name and Password are case sensitive. © Copyright 2020 TRENDnet. All Rights Reserved. 2. Click on the Icons to select internet service type. Access Point (AP): Disable's the WAN interface and the router acts as a standard AP. Router: The default operation mode, acts as a standard router. Repeater: Utilizes wireless radio to simultaneously connect to, and repeat the wireless SSID. Client: Acts as a wireless client, bridging the LAN and wireless networks. WISP: Wireless Internet Service Provider. Select this if the WAN connection is a wireless connection. 12

Basic Router Settings
Access your router management page
Note:
Your router management page URL/domain name

1. Open your web browser and go to URL/domain name
