380BA008 KN 380BA013 KN Motor Management Adjusting the Carburetor english / USA Exhaust emissions are controlled by the design of the fundamental engine parameters and components (e.g. carburation, ignition, timing and valve or port timing) without the addition of any major hardware. LA : Back off the idle speed screw (LA) counterclockwise until the end of the screw (see arrow) just disappears. Then turn the screw 6 full turns clockwise. The carburetor is set at the factory to provide an optimum fuel-air mixture under all operating conditions. Standard setting : Check chain tension. : Check air filter and install a new one if necessary. : Check spark arresting screen and clean or replace as necessary. Adjusting idle speed : Carry out stardard setting. : Start and warm up the engine. HT 73 27
