English / USA Definitions 1. Starter grip. The grip of the pull starter, which is the device to start the engine. 2. Filter cover. Housing, which covers the air filter. 3. Fuel pump Provides additional fuel feed for a cold start. 4. Spark plug boot. Connects the spark plug with the ignition wire. 5. Carburetor adjusting screw. For tuning carburetor. 6. Control handle. The support handle for the left hand, located at or toward the rear of the hedge trimmer. 7. Trigger interlock. Must be depressed before activating the throttle trigger. 8. Slide control. Lever for starting throttle and stop switch. 9. Throttle trigger. Controls the speed of the engine. 10. Fuel filler cap. For closing the fuel tank. 11. Fuel tank For gasoline and oil mixture. 12.
