Follow the steps below to connect a CD player, tape recorder, turntable or other audio component. Tape deck, etc. CD player, etc. 1 Connect the analog audio outputs of your CD player (or other component) to the CD inputs on this receiver. Use a stereo RCA phono cable as shown. • Connect any other components (such as an iPod1 dock or a portable audio player) to the AUX inputs in the same way. Making cable connections
Make sure not to bend the cables over the top
of this unit (as shown in the illustration). If this
happens, the magnetic field produced by the
transformers in this unit may cause a
humming noise from the speakers.
Important
Before making or changing any
connections, switch off the power and
disconnect the power cord from the AC
outlet.
Connecting audio components
The number and kind of connections depends
on the kind of component you’re connecting.
Follow the steps below to connect a CD player,
tape recorder, turntable or other audio
component.

Connect the analog audio outputs of your
CD player (or other component) to the CD
inputs on this receiver.
Use a stereo RCA phono cable as shown.
