Sending Documents Dialing Re-enter Function If the address is designated with direct dialing, the re-enter screen of the address is displayed. With this function, transmission is only started if the addresses for the first and second time agree with each other. This function operates if setting "137 RE-ENTER D. DIAL" of Fax Parameter set to "VALID". (See page 41) 1 Enter the telephone number. Ex: 5 5 5 3 4 5 6 TEL. NO. 555 3456 2 RE-ENTER TEL. NO. 3 Re-enter the same telephone number and press Set . If the telephone number is incorrect, repeat the steps, starting with the first step of inputting the telephone number. If the telephone number is correct, transmission is started. If the telephone number is incorrect, the message "STN DOES NOT MATCH" will appear. In this case, start with the first step of inputting the telephone number. Basic Operations NOTE 1. When dial from an external telephone, the re-enter screen is not displayed. 2. If setting "136 RESTRICT D. DIAL" of Fax Parameter set to "VALID", even if you set to "VALID" with this function, the re-enter screen of the address is not displayed. 55

Dialing Re-enter Function
If the address is designated with direct dialing, the re-enter screen of the address is displayed. With this
function, transmission is only started if the addresses for the first and second time agree with each other.
This function operates if setting “137 RE-ENTER D. DIAL” of Fax Parameter set to “VALID”.

If the telephone number is correct, transmission is started.
If the telephone number is incorrect, the message “STN DOES NOT MATCH” will appear. In this case, start
with the first step of inputting the telephone number.
NOTE
1.
When dial from an external telephone, the re-enter screen is not displayed.
2.
If setting “136 RESTRICT D. DIAL” of Fax Parameter set to "VALID", even if you set to "VALID"
