Playback Editing 2 Dividing a scene to partially delete [SDR-T70]/[SDR-H100] This divides the recorded scenes in two and deletes the front half or back half. SDR-T70 ¬ Change the mode to [VIDEO] (l 62) , and switch play mode selection to [Built-inMemory]/ SDR-H100 ¬ Change the mode to (l 62) , and switch play mode selection to [HDD]/[VIDEO] 1 Select the menu. (l 27) 5 Select [YES], then press the [EDIT SCENE] # [SPLIT&DELETE] 2 Select the scene to be divided, then press the joystick. 3 When you reach the point where you want to divide the scene Select [ ] with the joystick. joystick to play back the part to be deleted. ≥ When [NO] is selected, the confirmation message appears. Proceed to step 7. 6 When you stop the playback, the confirmation message appears. 7 Select [YES], then press the joystick. ≥ Move the joystick left or right to fast forward/rewind playback. ≥ Using slow-motion playback or frame-byframe playback makes it easy to search for the point where you want to divide the scene. (l 64) 4 Select the half that you want to delete and press the joystick. 72 VQT3E42 To continue dividing and deleting other scenes Repeat steps 2 to 7. To complete editing Press the MENU button. ≥ It is impossible to divide and delete scenes with a short recording time. The length of the remaining scenes must be 3 seconds or longer. ≥ It is impossible to set the dividing point at the beginning or the end of the scene. ≥ When a scene that was divided and deleted using the SPLIT&DELETE function is copied to a disc using the DVD burner or the supplied software and played back on another device, a maximum of about 1 second of the deleted part may be played back. ≥ The actual division may slightly slip off the previously designated dividing point.
