Note when using alkaline batteries for power backup • The batteries should be used correctly, otherwise the unit may be damaged due to battery leakage. • Do not charge, short-circuit, disassemble, or heat the batteries. • Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. • Remove all the batteries when replacing. • Do not mix old, new or different types of batteries. • It is recommended that batteries are replaced annually. • It is recommended that batteries are replaced after a power outage.
