Self-Timer 1 Press rY. Self-Timer Lamp 2 Press sr to select [Y12 SEC] or [Y2 SEC], and press o. 3 Press the shutter button completely to take the picture. Y12 SEC: The self-timer lamp lights for approximately 10 seconds, then starts blinking. After blinking for approximately 2 seconds, the picture is taken. Y2 SEC: The self-timer lamp blinks for 2 seconds, then the picture is taken. En Flash Modes 1 Press #(Flash pop-up) to open the flash. 2 Press sr to select the flash mode, and press o. 3 Press the shutter button halfway. When the flash is set to fire, the # mark lights. 4 Press the shutter button completely to take the picture. Icon Flash Mode AUTO Auto flash ! Red-eye reduction flash # Fill-in flash !# Red-eye fill-in flash #SLOW Slow flash $ Flash off Description The flash fires automatically in low light or backlight condition. Emits pre-flashes for red-eye reduction. The flash fires regardless of the available light. The flash always fires after pre-flashes for red-eye reduction are emitted. The flash fires with slow speed. The flash does not fire even in low light conditions. Power Save Feature To save battery power, the camera automatically enters sleep mode and stops operating if not used for 3 minutes in shooting mode. Press the shutter button or turn the zoom lever to reactivate the camera. If the camera is not operated for 4 hours after the camera enters sleep mode, it automatically retracts the lens and turns off. To resume operation, turn on the power again. 13
