Getting Started Preparing Your NAVIGON 7100 for Use Supplying power to the navigation device Included in delivery of the NAVIGON 7100 is a car charger cable that can be used to power the navigation device using the vehicle's cigarette lighter. The car charger cable is connected to the NAVIGON 7100 using the power connector port on the bottom of the device. Caution! The car charger cable is to be connected to only cigarette lighters with an operating voltage of 12V. Connecting an optional TMC antenna The NAVIGON 7100 has an integrated TMC receiver. For optimal reception, you should use the TMC antenna provided. 1. Connect the TMC antenna to the external antenna/headset socket bottom of the NAVIGON 7100. 2.
