3. Convenient Features ❶ Turning off the Image and Sound Press the AV-MUTE button to turn off the image and sound for a short period of time. Press again to restore the image and sound. The projector's power-saving function will work 10 seconds after the image is turned off. As a result, the lamp power will be reduced. NOTE: • Even though the image is turned off, the menu still remains on the screen. • Sound from the AUDIO OUT jack (Stereo mini) can be turned off. • Even when the power-saving function works, the lamp power may be restored to its original level temporarily. • To restore the image, even if you press the AV-MUTE button immediately after the start of the power-saving function, the lamp brightness may not be restored to its original level. ❷ Freezing a Picture Press the FREEZE button to freeze a picture. Press again to resume motion. NOTE: The image is frozen but the original video is still playing back. • This feature can not be used when USB-A is selected as the input terminal. ❸ Magnifying a Picture You can enlarge the picture up to four times. NOTE: • The maximum magnification may be less than four times depending on the signal. • This feature can not be used when LAN, and USB-B is selected as the input terminal. To do so: 1. Press the D-ZOOM (+) button to magnify the picture. To move the magnified image, use the or ▶ button. 23
