Do Not Disturb Call Coverage Key Busy Lamp Indications When the key is: The covered extension is: Off On Slow ﬂash Medium ﬂash Fast Flash Idle or not installed Busy Ringing In DND for outside calls (option 1) In DND for Intercom calls (option 2) or All Calls (option 3) Note: When transferring an outside call to an extension in DND, the Transfer will be blocked if the extension has enabled DND for all calls (type 3) or DND for outside calls (type 1). The Transfer will be allowed if the extension has enabled DND for Intercom calls (type 2). Conditions • A system reset or power failure cancels DND. Default Setting • Do Not Disturb enabled. Programming 1. Should an extension be allowed to use DND? 1. If yes, in 2111-01: Allow Do Not Disturb (page 731) enter Yes. 2. If no, in 2111-01: Allow Do Not Disturb (page 731) enter No. Other Related Features Features Attendant Position (page 24) The attendant can have Do Not Disturb. In addition, pressing DND at the attendant actives the night mode for any lines directly terminated to the attendant. Background Music (page 34) DND does not affect the operation of Background Music. Call Forwarding (page 44) • Call Forwarding considers an extension in DND as busy. In addition, an extension can have both DND and Call Forwarding enabled at the same time. • Note that Call Forwarding has priority over Do Not Disturb. If both are enabled simultaneously at an extension, Call Forwarding is in force. Call Waiting / Camp-On (page 58) An extension cannot Camp-On to a busy co-worker that is in Do Not Disturb. Callback (page 61) An extension cannot leave a Callback for a busy co-worker that is in Do Not Disturb. Do Not Disturb Override (page 146) Do Not Disturb Override can override an extension's Do Not Disturb. Extension Hunting (page 154) Placing an agent in DND temporarily removes it from the UCD Group.
