When the VOLUME knob on the front panel is turned slowly, the volume can be fine-adjusted in 0.5 dB steps, whereas when it is turned rapidly, the volume level changes greatly. 7 Attenuating the Volume Level Temporarily The volume level from the speakers can be temporarily attenuated.
