Indicator Description SmarTrunk operation is activated. QT, DQT, DTMF, or 5-tone signaling is deactivated (by pressing the Monitor key) or Squelch is open (by pressing the Squelch Off key). A DTMF call is being received. Talk Around is activated. Scanning is in progress. A message is stored in the stack memory. Flashes when you receive a new message. The selected channel is a Priority channel. This icon is not used on this transceiver. Low transmit power is selected. The scrambler is activated. Displays the battery status; 3 strength bars represents full power while an empty battery icon represents very low power. The selected zone is added to scan. VOX is activated. The AUX port is activated. OST (Operator Selectable Tone) is activated. The selected channel is added to scan. Displays the zone and channel numbers or names (if programmed by your dealer). Also displays received FleetSync and 5-tone messages. 13
