4.5 Operation with USB mains adapter You can also operate the radio with the supplied mains adapter. The "Alarms " function is available in this operating mode. 4.6 DAB + / FM telescopic antenna 1. Carefully unlock the antenna on the right rear part of the casing. 2. Turn the antenna upwards and pull out all the elements completely. 3. Align the antenna for the best reception. 5. Operating the radio 5.1 Switching On / Off (standby) Hold and press the < /FUNC> button until the radio is switched on. To set the device in the Standby mode, hold and press until the time appears on the Display. To switch the device back on again from the Standby mode, briefly p ess the button. In order to switch it off completely from the Standby mode, press and hold the < /FUNC> button. The "POWER OFF" appears briefly in the Display and the device switches o f. 5.2 Navigate in the menus Keep the button pressed to call up the source-related menu. By pressing the or button, you can navigate in the menu. You can also use the volume control for browsing. Confirm the menu selection with the button. If you briefly press the button in a menu, you will jump back to the previous menu level. 5.3 Adjusting the volume You can adjust the volume by turning the volume control. The volume setting is graphically displayed in the Display. 5.4 Additional information By repeatedly pressing the button, depending on the source and station, additional information can be displayed: • Description • Name of the station, the current program, content, topics, etc. • Genre • Signal level and signal error • Bit rate • Channel information • Today's date and current time 5.5 Setting the menu language 1. Switch on the radio and call up the menu with button. 2. Using the button or the volume control, select the "Language" menu and confir . 3.
